Hi Folks: Happy New Year to you all and may this one bring prosperity and abundance to all.  This year started with great news from the Art from the Ashes "Inspire" exhibit; all 4 pieces sold and 2 were purchased for a movie directed my Cameron Crowe, starring Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson.  The movie, "We Bought a Zoo" is scheduled for release in spring of 2011.  I can't tell you how exciting this is.  Many thanks to Inspire Curator, Shannon Curfman and AFTA Founder, Joy Feuer for making this happen.  My babies are going to me in the movies! LOL! Current exhibits include the Topanga Canyon Juried Open 2011 now showing at the Topanga Canyon Gallery located at 120 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd., Suite 109, Topanga, CA 90290 as well as the Show Case at the Altadena Library at 600  E. Mariposa Street, Altadena, CA 91001.  Upcoming exhibits include two in the downtown Los Angeles gallery district as well as possibly one in Echo Park.  More later on those 4.
